The Downtown Outreach Program makes a difference in our downtown.
Since he started in November of 2022, Nathan has accumulated some significant statistics: 23,288 self-initiated contacts with unhoused individuals, 4,690 self-initiated business contacts, 96 people have moved off the street and into stable housing, 82 people have agreed to accept treatment. Downtown businesses call on these services daily.

Downtown Duluth’s Outreach Program serves both the unsheltered community and the business community. The position was funded by ARPA grant dollars and those will be expiring later this year. We are tirelessly seeking additional funding opportunities to retain this important position.
